In a combination of a horror game and light-gun game, Resident Evil: Dead Aim puts you on a cruise ship infested with zombies. You start off as Bruce McGivern, a US government agent sent to stop Morpheus D. Duvall from spreading the zombie T-virus any further. Along the way you'll run into Fongling, a Chinese government agent who is aboard the cruise ship for the same reason, and you'll also end up playing as her. All you really need to know is that there are zombies and you have to kill them. The player controls Caim on his quest. The game is separated into three distinct modes: Aerial combat, Ground combat and Event Combat. In Aerial Combat, Caim rides dragonback against a variety of airborne foes breathing fireballs (strong single shots and weaker multiple lock-on shots). The Dragon is agile and is able to evade incoming threats, turning around completely in a moment. In Ground combat, the game is shown in 3rd person though usually large, open areas. Controlling Caim, his primary ability is the use of a variety of weapons found on the battlefield. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex follows the Japanese animated television series of the same title, which is based on the manga of Masamune Shirow and lauded for its blend of existential insight and sci-fi action. This third-person action-adventure interpretation for PlayStation 2 features platforming through futuristic urban environments, a number of hacking puzzles based on the cybernetic protagonists' special abilities, and, when necessary, a fair share of shoot-'em-up action.
