The third in the Playstation Spyro the Dragon series sees Spyro having to recover a clutch of Dragon eggs from the evil Sorceress. The player can now play as not only Spyro, but Agent 9 the Space Monkey, Sheila the Kangaroo, Bentley the Yeti, Sgt. Byrd the Penguin and his two best friends Sparx and Hunter. Sparx has his own levels for the very first time. Also, Spyro has learned a few new abilities, including skateboarding! The story and gameplay are designed to unfold in a non-linear fashion, as in Lara's previous adventures, but even more so. This time gamers will be able to choose their own destiny by selecting the order in which they play each of the four main levels. The levels are also more open, with multiple routes to the same end. In her fourth adventure, ponytailed archaeologist Lara Croft journeys to Egypt to find the necessary artifacts to defeat ancient god Set, whom she accidentally freed upon the world. New weapons and equipment include binoculars, a revolver, crossbow, and multiple ammo types. Improved acrobatic techniques range from swinging and climbing on ropes to kicking down doors.
